Since 1991, Hill & Sons Pest Management, known as “the Bed Bug King,” has been a cornerstone of professional pest control services in New York City. Our Story

In 1991, our father Mark Hill built upon his father Paul Hill’s business, Paul’s A-Z Services, and established Hill & Sons Pest Control. Mark began his journey by carrying a spray tank throughout NYC on the subway, building a strong rapport with clients and letting his results speak for themselves. His dedication and success allowed him to open an office out of his home, which later moved to 87th Street and Atlantic Avenue in 2009. In 2019, we proudly relocated to our own building at Atlantic Avenue & Woodhaven Boulevard.

Mark Hill was a legend in the local pest control industry, earning the nickname “Bed Bug King.” He was at the forefront of New York City’s bed bug epidemic from 2009 to 2010, becoming the only exterminator at the time to offer guarantees and warranties on his work. Mark’s commitment to client satisfaction was unparalleled; he did everything to ensure his clients were satisfied and took every opportunity to educate the public about pest control.

After Mark passed away in 2021, the business is now run by his son Nicholas Hill, along with his three brothers, Daniel, John, and Chris. Together, they continue the legacy of excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction that Mark established.

I normally don't write a review, I feel like most people say this until they feel compelled to write one because the service was so good!. Wow, I can't say enough about their services. True professionals and experts at what they do. From the initial scheduling with the receptionist to the service by technician. I had a mouse problem in my 2 story property and my technician not only set mouth traps but helped seal holes throughout the entire apartment all the while educating me about additional steps I can take to eliminate a reoccurrence of infestation. Within a week I saw a drastic improvement and their service offered a free follow-up within two weeks. On the follow-up service, the technician Soto came, but the son of the Business owner (Nick) came as well to personally inspect and oversee the job that was done. I said before, professional through and through. As a bonus, they did a sweep of the other floors for free! I will do yearly maintenance services with them just to stay on top of things. Try them! you will not regret it!

Top tier service - we had a mouse plaguing us for two months and couldn't put traps out because of pets. Our landlords called this company. Both John and Jose were exceptionally courteous and professional, and clearly had expertise. They explained everything they were doing and how they'd keep our pets safe, closing up holes and identifying other issues for the landlord to fix. We have had no mice sightings since. If we ever own a home we will absolutely use Hill and Sons!

Bed Bug King (Hill & Sons Pest Management) is so conscientious and caring. My roommates and I were dealing with nightmarish landlords: even after multiple inspections and confirmations of bed bugs, the owners of our building were still resisting treatment. They even booked Bed Bug King and then refused to let them continue for no good reason. Bed Bug King would have been well within their rights to step away from the whole ridiculous situation. But Nicolas, Cecilia, and Wendy were so diligent and compassionate in the way they advocated for us and empowered us with information. They all worked with us and our landlords to get our home treated and fought for us when we were unlikely to get it. Nicolas and Jonathan both came to our home to do treatments, and they gave us thorough instructions and answered tons of questions. They even offered to prepare the Nuvon strips we purchased, which was a big help. Anyone looking for a company that will treat them like human beings, answer the phone, go out of their way to be available, all while being a professional and knowledgeable presence during a difficult time should ABSOLUTELY go with Bed Bug King.
